For artist Maria França, art is about losing oneself or finding oneself in one's thoughts and expressing feelings to the world. It's about creating, sharing existence, and respecting the Other with their differences. ART is a companion of LIFE for understanding and living better in the human universe. It's a way of expressing, manifesting, and materializing dreams, fantasies, and reality. It's the practice of EXISTING, consciously or unconsciously. Art is the exercise of thinking in order to understand and be understood... It's about exercising one's creations, ideas, and skills with freedom.
